I have to report the following serial attacks by
enemy planes and damage sustained by the Railway on the 18th
16th and 18th instanti-
15th JULK.
At about 16.38 hours, 4 bambs were dropped by an
enemy plane at Km. 11/4-5 aiming at No. 172 Tong Tom Ha
Fm.11 Re.172
Bridge (4.40) eek Girder) but without damage to bridge or
track.
16th JULY
Between 14.50 1500 hours, # enemy planes raided
the ailway when 6 boabe were dropped at Chaung Buku,
causing the following dansgeas-*
$ bombs at Km. 98/10 - About 50 lin: ft. of reinforced
sonerete fencing walls on both sides of the line very badly damaged. - # shopa belonging to merchants behind
loop line platform badly damaged.
5 bombs at Km. 98/11
18th JULY.
About 14.30 hours the railway van raided by an
enemy plane and 4 bomba dropped at heklung Station, without
any damage to treak or bridge.
